Thursday – Sunday.

– Summer begins early Monday.

– Tropical wave near Puerto Rico shows little signs of development and
NHC has < 30% chance of development.

Probabilities:

– Severe Thunderstorms in Oklahoma: 5%
– Storm Chase: < 5%
– Tropical Development: 5%

Discussion:

Little to talk about this week as the atmosphere continues to be
unusually warm across Oklahoma. Normal high is 89F but with a ridge
over Oklahoma, we'll remain in the 90s throughout the week. I'm
staying a little lower than the going highs Monday-Wednesday as
copious ground moisture remains from the big rain a week ago. As the
ground begins to dry out, temperatures should creep up during the
week. As such, I've increased temperatures Thursday – Sunday.

Little going on in the tropics, so left the probabilities low. While
POPs are not expected as a whole across Oklahoma, there is some chance
in northern sections with a weak cold front during the week.
