..NEW RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE AT OKLAHOMA CITY


THE COLDEST TEMPERATURE ON THIS DATE PRIOR TO THIS MORNING WAS 27
DEGREES...WHICH OCCURRED IN 1938. OKLAHOMA CITY DROPPED TO A LOW OF
22 AROUND 6 AM THIS MORNING. THIS NEW RECORD COMES CLOSE TO THE
COLDEST TEMPERATURE EVER RECORDED IN OKLAHOMA CITY DURING THE MONTH
OF APRIL...WHEN THE CITY REACHED 20 DEGREES ON THE 2ND IN 1936 AND
THE 15TH IN 1957.

WEATHER RECORDS FOR OKLAHOMA CITY DATE BACK TO 1890.
