Weekly Severe Weather Discussion

Severe Weather Discussion for September 15 – 21, 2008.
Valid: 09/14/2008.

Highlights:

– Awesome late summer week ahead with temperatures in the upper 70s to
mid 80s across Oklahoma. Texas will warm to the upper 80s/low 90s by
the end of the week.

– Tropics are quiet after Ike and I hope they stay that way.

Probabilities:

– Severe Thunderstorms in Oklahoma: < 5%
– Storm Chase: < 5%
– Winter Precip: < 5%

Discussion:

Little to talk about. High pressure will dominate the surface and
aloft this week. Should be real nice with cool mornings and mild
afternoons all week. Really nothing to complain about this week and
certainly great Fair weather!
