…STORM DAMAGE SURVEY INFORMATION…

A NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TEAM HAS INVESTIGATED KNOWN DAMAGE AND
SEARCHED ALONG STORM TRACKS IN OKMULGEE…TULSA…WAGONER…AND
MAYES COUNTIES TODAY. THIS IS A BRIEF PRELIMINARY SUMMARY OF THEIR
FINDINGS.

AN ADDITIONAL TORNADO TRACK WAS DISCOVERED. A 4 MILE LONG TRACK FROM
7 SOUTHWEST OF BEGGS TO 3.8 SOUTH OF BEGGS IN OKMULGEE COUNTY. WIDTH
WAS 200 YARDS AND RATED EF0 WITH WINDS ESTIMATED AT 70 TO 80 MPH
BASED ON DAMAGE TO TREES AND A MOBILE HOME.

ADDITIONAL TEAMS WILL INVESTIGATE ADDITIONAL DAMAGE AREA IN
HASKELL…SEQUOYAH…AND CRAWFORD COUNTIES ON FRIDAY.
