…TORNADO SURVEY INFORMATION FOR THURSDAY MAY 1 STORMS…

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SURVEY TEAMS CONTINUE TO ASSESS STORM
DAMAGE IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION HAS BEEN
COMPILED THIS AFTERNOON.

UP TO FOUR SEPARATE TORNADO DAMAGE PATHS ARE BEING INVESTIGATED IN
PAWNEE AND OSAGE COUNTIES. THE DAMAGE IS MAINLY LOCATED BETWEEN THE
CITIES OF PAWNEE AND PAWHUSKA. ALL DAMAGE OBSERVED SO FAR HAS BEEN
IN THE EF0 TO EF1 RANGE. LACK OF ROADS IN THE AREA IS MAKING IT
DIFFICULT TO ACCESS THE ENTIRE DAMAGE PATHS. SURVEYING IS
CONTINUING.

NWS SURVEY TEAMS ARE ALSO CONTINUING TO SURVEY OTHER AREAS OF
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. INFORMATION ABOUT
ADDITIONAL TORNADO PATHS AND OTHER STORM DAMAGE WILL BE PUBLISHED
AS SOON AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE.
