This is the sounding from Norman this evening. The convective temp was 93F, which tells part of the story. As SPC stated in an MCD there was probably some downward motion in the atmosphere. All of this combined to make for a very quiet day across Oklahoma. I always hate it when my forecasting blows up and this time it did. Next time, check satellite.
