Southwest Lubbock Rain

We had a thunderstorm this morning that dropped 0.32 inch of rain at our house. This is the most rain in one event since June 22nd, 0.78 inch, and more rain than all of July, 0.28 inch. Just like most places in the central U.S., we need the rain desperately. Here is a photo of the rain falling in our backyard. Simply beautiful.

Nice looking yard there Gusty! We’re suppose to have a 60% chance of that stuff today. We shall see!
