Rain this Weekend?

Forecast calls for rain this weekend across much of the region. 12z model runs continue hope that Oklahoma will see rainfall. Best area Friday night looks to be southeast Oklahoma and the western 1/4. The rain will spread across much of the state on Saturday and into early Sunday. Severe thunderstorms are possible in western KS/OK and the Texas/Oklahoma Panhandles tonight with severe chances across the western 1/2 on Saturday.

Rainfall totals of 1-2 inches are possible, locally higher amounts may occur if conditions remain favorable. We’ll take all we can get!

The nice thing about rain this weekend is cooler temperatures and we may actually see a day with below normal temperatures on Saturday.
